Car chirping when off?

I got home from work and parked the car and heard a weird chirping noise coming from under the hood as the car cooled down. exhaust leak?

does is sound close to a bunch of little clicks like someone tapping their nails on a desk? or like a squeaky belt?

well the car is off so it cant be a belt. it honestly sounds like there is a bird under the hood, i was looking around because i thought one got in the garage

There is only one thing that could be causing a noise like this after the engine is shut off - the electric fans. One of mine used to do this, as the fan would be slowing to a stop it would chirp for a bit.
