Default Is it ok to...

Have a 98 ls1 firebird that the previous owner ripped out the rear o2 sensors and egr valve. He plugged the egr intake with a freeze plug and welded the exhaust hole where the egr hose is inserted. I know someone that can delete the codes and the 2 downstream o2 sensors along with the egr for $100. I want to put everything back in but the price it cost seems a bit high compared to just taking them off the computer map. Is it ok and a good decision to delete these out of the computer. Let me know ls1 Gods what you think this pollywog should do. Thanks for your input!

its fine... guys with long tubes normally delete the rear O2's anyway... and guys with race version headers delete the cats, AIR and EGR **** too.... no big deal
