i got a stock 98 z and im getting a slight shutter while idling, it shutters for a sec then goes away for a few secs and repeats. and a while driving i get a virbration between 18-2200 rpm. any higher or lower the vibration goes away.
i do have an exh leak from the bottom of the driver mani to the cat and a CEL code of 137 and 141. im thinking those are from the rear driver o2 but im not worried about those as im going to long tubes shortly and those will be deleted.

i just bought a laser temp gun the other day and, being curious, took some exh mani temps if anyone could interpret them...

i could see 4 and 6 being hotter with the being in the middle, but that would mean 3 and 5 should be hotter as well.
i dont know why 4,6,8 are so hot.

Im dealing with almost the exact same thing on mine. How many miles on the engine? Have you done a comp check? How about a leak down test? Mine checked out with the comp check so I guess a leak down is next. Im guessing leaking valves but we will see.

Replace plugs and wires, replace fuel filter, replace the exhaust leak.

Once you can get those knocked out you will know if it could be a bad motor mount etc
