Default Replacement radiator fan motors?

I am using a set of LT1 fans in my pickup and one of them has gone bad on me. Is there a replacement motor available at the local parts stores? Hate to shell out mod money for a new set of fans when I just need a motor...

Hard to say, you could try giving them a call if all else fails you can try to hunt one down at a junkyard or craigslist.

I wanted to see if anyone has personal experience to share on this subject. Thought about taking a fan into the parts store but that almost always ends in a wild goose chase.

Just the cooling fan motor by itself costs $32.00 for a Four Seasons brand. AC Delco costs $62.00.

Little off topic.....

But does anyone know if these fan motors slow down over time....but still work? Or if it works it runs like a brand new one......till it dies.

Mine are friggin original from 1998.......15 years old. Just figure I'd put two new motors in -IF- they run faster and stronger when they are new.....

??
