To be honest, the stock trans mount seems to have held up really well since I did the solid motor mounts. I don't imagine it will tear apart as often as you think even with the poly mounts. Even if it does, that rubber trans mount is dirt cheap.

Yes, as 99Bluz28 also mentioned above, it would make sense that the poly, or solid motor mounts would actually help SAVE the OEM rubber trans mount due to less engine torque twisting getting back to that mount.

Guess I am the odd man out on this one. Still no vibrations or noises and I drive the car to School about 20 miles one way

I have the poly urthane trans mount and i have no vibrations.

I've heard they do break in, so maybe I'm just impatient.

If you going to change the trans mount, also replace the torque arm bushing, unless the bushing is still good.
