Default Ls1 tick

my car is ticking somewhere, with a metal rod, it's near my passenger headers. The loudest I can find it us the underside of my headers under my car but I can hear it on all four of the primaries or whatever, and can hear it a little when I press against the passenger side of the block but not near as loud.. It had a tick that sounded similar before turned out to be a loose spark plug but I couldn't hear anything near the plugs this time

I would guess an exhaust leak. A small hole on only one primary could sound like a "tick."

Have an assistant BRIEFLY hold towels or something over the exhaust tips to build a small amount of pressure and listen for the noise to get louder.
