Default Unusual power window issue

My wife's 2001 Z has an unusual issue. You can roll the window down from the passenger switch but not back up. But you can roll it back up from the driver's side switch but you can't roll the passenger side down. Driver's side window works fine.

Would one bad switch in either door cause this?

Yes. Your problem is likely in the driver's side switch. If contact cannot be made it will behave exactly like this.

Only other possibility that would cause the exact same thing is wire break or bad connector on tan wire that runs from pin C on the driver's switch to pin E on the passenger's switch. I would probably check for continuity there first because it's easy to do.

You were correct. Replace the switches on the driver's side and everything returned to normal!
Thanks much,
