Default 2000 trans am problem. Looking for help

Had a bad exhaust leak and i replaced the manifold gaskets which got it fixed. But i notice still a slight whistle from under my car only when accelerating at a certain mph. I took it in and they found no cause either. My cars gauges also never work properly upon startup. I gotta pop it in neut for them to recalibrate. My starts seem extremely quiet and weak compared to when i first got it a month ago. It would wake up the neighbors now even my own house can barely hear it. Magnas with pace setter headers but startup sounds like a v6. Super weak and quiet but it does NOT fail or hesitate at all. Any suggestions on what i should look for? Pressure reg, fuel pump, electrical, a deeper exhaust leak? Ty.

By your description, it sounded like a clogged cat.

Stumped now.
