Hello I am a new owner of a 1999 z/28 I am from NYC but currently am living in Dubai. The car is an automatic mods include slp intake, under drive pulley, flow master with cut out option, diablo predator tune.after fueling up last night I realized the car seemed to be loosing power some hesitation and the revs seem to be dropping. It happens about 70% of the time when hitting the throttle. Like a choking noise and the car does not want to go. Check engine light also turned on car idles fine and is drive able I feel the problem is at about 50 mph and when you start giving it throttle it chokes and rpms drop. I'm wondering if it's possible I got a bad batch of gas. Any info would be great. Will try to post a video of it later today thank you.

A bad batch of gas is possible but getting that code read should be priority #1.

So when I got back into the car the check engine light was off the tank was basically empty I filled it with 98 octane since it's only 1.50 a gallon here and no light has came back seems to be driving better also will follow up in a day or two. Just had me worried because I just bought the car

Do you have a K&N air filter also? If so, you probably have a dirty MAF and just need to get some MAF cleaner. Those air filters shed oil, contaminate the MAF, and cause your car to run lean as you hit the gas.
