Default turn signal issue

Ok so, my front driver side turn signal doesn't work. Replaced the bulb.. still doesn't work.. It does come on when I lock the doors with my key fobs, other than that.. no light. Any insight?

I'm going to bet that your housing is cracked and water has damaged your socket. It has happened to to pretty much every ls1 T/A. You can get a replacement set of housings off of rockauto.com, splice in a new socket, and keep running regular bulbs, but they eventually start to warp / crack / leak again since the bulb is simply too hot for the small housing. You can get the replacement housings, splice in a new socket, and then put in LEDs for a permanent fix. I've done this, along with countless others on this site, and have had no further issues with my turn signals. Plus the new housing and crisp LED lighting looks much better!

Does the bulb work when your hazards are on?

I just changed mine, it was the socket as well. It was missing 1 of the 3 prongs inside. This is the first time I've had to change them.

So I'm going to clean all the connections real good, put on dielectric grease, drill 1/4" holes in the lamp assemblies to drain water and place clear silicone on the outside of the lamp housing. If I run into issues again, I will look into LEDs.

But I'm happy to hear you fixed your problem.
