Bad Power Steering and Coolant lines
So i have a 2000 ws6 and I just installed a set of LTs and I removed EGR and AIR systems along with the AC. now A few weeks ago I did a few doughnuts and lost power steering, I believe that its the PS cooler that goes on the coolant hose because my overflow tank looks nasty. I have a new set of hoses
(mishamoto brand) that dont have provisions for the PS cooler (ie its a one pice hose) how do i delete the cooler and what are the drawbacks???

Delete power steering cooler???
Long story short, did some doughnuts, power steering went out, coolant is nasty looking, i have new radiator hoses w/o PS cooler provisions, are there any negatives to deleting the system?

All you do is take the return line that runs from the rack to the cooler and plug it directly into the reservoir. You'll probably want to cut some of the length as it's much longer than necessary to go directly back to the pump.
I'd also check your pressure hose from the pump to rack while you're at it as those usually need replaced with any significant mileage.
Don't forget you'll need to flush both the coolant and PS systems.
