Default f-body window motor dorman 742-101

I will be putting in some new door speakers shortly in my 98 WS6 Vert (sound terrible) and figured while I have the door panels off I will swap out the window motors (sluggish); appears to be a fairly simple job (a lot of good info in this forum). I have read the many posts to on the recommendation to use the aftermarket motors specifically the Dorman 742-01 and not the refurbished ones (OEM). These are available at both Autozone and Advanced Auto. I noticed that other online suppliers sell New after market replacements but the brand is unknown....they refer to them as a "private label". Does anybody know if they are all made by the same manufacturer or are these "alternatives" possibly inferior or are they pretty much all the same with the improved design which I believe is an updated thermal switch ? Thanks.

Anybody know if the Dorman window motors have unique thermal switch design that makes them last longer than other manufacturers or OEM window motors ?

I'm not sure, but the propaganda that coincided with their original release to the world indicated that they have a design that is better sealed against contaminants.
