Default Is it easy to damage the overflow tank?

After my friend & I did a coolant system flush I started to intermittently smell antifreeze. I found it dripping from inside my passenger inner fender running down my sway bar. I guess he cracked the overflow tank? I don't remember if there are any connections on the bottom. If it is cracked I am going to epoxy or hot glue it. Any tips?

No connections on the bottom, there is only the overflow hose that runs in from the top.

The only thing I've ever personally seen break on these is the battery mounting lip on the integrated tray, but never the tank portion itself.

Is it possible that the system is overfilled and coolant is getting pumped out the top, then dribbling down?
