Default Knocking under drivers seat?

I have a 2002 z28, when I take off from a dead stop quickly there is a knocking/Rattling noise coming from under the drivers seat. I can feel it right under my feet. Not sure what it is. If I drive normally it's fine, but if I take it off from a stop hard it will knock under my feet.

check the clearance of the exhaust pipe. sometimes if the pipe has been bent it could hit the floor board.

I agree that it sounds like the exhaust is hitting the floorboard. It could possibly be from the motor mounts being wore out but you will have to get under the car and see what is going on.

Will do, guys. Thanks. I figured it might have been a motor mount, but the exhaust does look really close to the floor. If there's any other ideas I'd love to know though.

as the motor/trans rotates/shifts in a clockwise(viewed from rear),it'll raise the driver's side and lower the passenger's side exhaust components.

You're not cool until you have an exhaust piece bang on the bottom of your F-body, welcome to the club.
