Default pvc plastic tubes cracked

When my LS1 5.7 was out of the donor Camaro I noticed that the hard plastic tubes for the PVC were cracked up pretty bad. I was wondering if I could just take rubber hose and replace them and buy a plastic t fitting and not have to buy the ridiculous expensive plastic lines. What have other people done on there's?

Yes you can, use a good oil/fuel line hose and re-use the driver side valve cover plastic fitting unless it's also busted. I'd also just skip the T or Y fitting and just cap off the passenger side rear port.

There are illustrated threads on this. Just make sure you search for PCV fix and not PVC.

I get my acronyms reversed all the time and PCV isn't one that rolls off the tongue.

But... we WILL make up special site flair for the site member who can make a durable PVC PCV fix. (The scraps could be used for a street hockey goal. How cool would that be?)

I blocked off the one on the rear of the passenger side and just ran one to the back of the drivers side. I haven't driven it yet as I've had the dash out of the truck putting a speedometer in and also mounting the ECM and I need to clean up the rest of the wires.
