98 ls1 trans am SES p0131 p0171 after headers & catback install Just did full exhaust on my 98 trans am.
BBk shorty headers
magnaflow cats and Y pipe
SLP catback.
Put everything together and SES light came on with those two codes.
Other than the headers and exhaust mods, only other mod is slp intake.
Does this sound like a tuning issue or maybe an exhaust leak is causing these codes?

Did you delete your rear O2s? If their is a possibility of an exhaust leak, track it down and get it squared away regardless. I've heard of long tubes causing cars to run rich, idk about shortys. In any case run the codes and double check everything including the tune. See what happens from there.
