Default Gauge needle flickers

Ok guys need your help. I recently took out my gauge cluster to remove some bulbs. Of course when I did that, I had to remove the needles, now when I put them back, I was pretty sure I put them back in the same place.

But now, after I monitored it, my speedo and RPM's will bounce/flicker/get stuck at times. Did I push the needle to far in? What's the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance

Yes. You just pushed the needle back on too hard. If you back off just a hair, you will probably be fine.
