Overheating issue
Hey guys so I have had my car working well for a couple years with out an issue. So I took the car to the gm dealership to get the A/C charged. I received the car back and it was blowing cold air and everything was fine last week. So I took the car out yesterday and was driving, it was a little hot (95*) so I turn on the a/c and it wasn't blowing cold air. So I put it on the low control to drive a lil about 20 minutes and still nothing, so I turned it to the off position and about 10 minutes later the temps shot up and lights came on. I pulled over and had coolant shooting out of the reserve cap....
Long story short I got the car home and don't see any leaks, was wondering if the shop could have messed anything up (that I could look for) while fixing the a/c. Car has 80K
Any help could would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

It's most likely a SPST Single Pole Single Throw relay. It would require you to pull the relay and connect voltage across the "coil" posts (85 and 86) of the relay and see if you have continuity through the other posts(30 and 87).

Just replace it...not worth trying to test it for the cost of putting a new one in. I believe you will be looking for any standard 30A SPST automotive relay found at any auto parts stores.

Would a ground that's not grounded completely or a short cause the relays to be fried?? Just don't understand how I put in two new fan relays in and it never terns the fan and "both relays are bad again" What could cause this?

So i guess my question now is, if the fan motor is not working would it throw the codes for the relays??? I would think it would blow a fuse if the motor was bad or would it be another code?

Also, work your way backwards, I assume you applied power to the fans AT the fan motor.
See if you can apply voltage on the backside of the relay through the wiring to the fans. This will test the wiring between the relay and the plug AT the fans. If that is OK, keep moving backwards.
I had an issue with my AC pressure switch reading zero so I jumped the gun and replaced it. New one still read zero so I tested the switch when car was running and I got a reading through the new switch. It turns out that the sleeve inside the harness plug was opened up too much to make contact with the switch male prong . Literally used a flathead to pinch the connector and it works as normal.

yea I thought that might be the issue, so I took the factory relays that were throwing the codes and put them in the starter location and the OEM relays are still good. I personaly think its a grounding issue, but I'm going to go home and do as smitty suggested and see how that works out. If that doesn't work I'm going to take it over to a buddys shop that hopefully can help. I'm just not one that can mess around with electronics and wiring and figure it out as easy as some people.
iv seemed to figure out most of my issues so far on this car so im sure it will take a lil but I will figure this out haha, iv read on here were some people have added extra relays and switches and it works fine but I would like to keep it as "stock" as possible.

Check out my post #14. Compressor and AC won't work if the AC pressure switch is screwed up and or not making good connection to the engine harness.
What saved me a huge headache was the ability to datalog the car with TTS DataMaster. The pressure switch always read zero even with a new switch. This lead me to look into the switch to harness connection. Literally 5 seconds with a small flat head screwdriver fixed it.
All this:
For this...AC reading negative value Dafauq??
The issue: Left connector was on the car, right connector was a spare I had. Look at how on the connector on the left, the left side female connector was spread too far open, not making contact with the AC pressure switch male prong.
Then pressure read 190psi:
