Default New Alternator, Car won't start, voltage maxed.

Any ideas? Put a brand new tested alternator in and the car won't start and the voltage gauge is maxed out. New pigtail and new wiring as well.

You have a battery problem......alternators don't start engines. You don't even need to have an alternator in the car and it will start from the battery.
