I'm in the middle of changing my rear main seal and the other gasket that goes on the cover plate. When I remove the seal I found a couple of couches where the rear main seal sits (please see pics). In your opinion is this cover reusable or should I just get a new one? Maybe it's nothing but I wanted to ask the experts to make sure. Thank you.

very true....i ended up getting a new one. no more oil leaks woo hoo!!!
