Sensor could be bad. Happened to me, I changed out my sensor and the problem went away for awhile. It started happening again so I replaced sensor again, this time with a GM sensor. Light went out for awhile, then started coming back on. I finally just unplugged the sensor and bypassed it. I just make sure to check my oil level every now and then to make sure its good. No more annoying light.

Can't remember. All I know it would come and go and it was annoying. It's on the side of the oil pan. Easy to change, but you have to drain your oil to do it.

Mine just came on the other day. It was a broken wire that plugs into the sensor. I ripped it out of the connector it shoving the starter around while R&R the tranny Those wires are super tiny.

Mine was also the wiring, those wires are thin and easy to damage. Check the wiring first, then replace the sensor. The sensor itself is easy (big crescent wrench), but you have to drain the oil like already said.
