a popping in turning

Default a popping in turning

While driving.....when ever i go to turn right or left, to merge into another lane or make a turn to another street. i feel one slight pop in the steering.

what could this be?

id look under there and make sure all the bolts are tight.

most of the time this happens you will find the front lower contol arm bushings worn out. turn the wheels all the way left or right (check both) and you may find ripped,torn or cracked bushings where the A arm goes to the chassis

yeah man i had a V6 camaro that did that. we thought it would need a new rack and pinion or something but all they did was tighten some bolts and it was good after that

Could be ball joints or tie rods lift the front of the car and "shake the front end down" and check for unusual play.

I have the same problem too. It is my lower ball joint
