Default Gauge Sweep and Trip Reset upon start-up

WTF? My car (1999 6 Speed SS) now every 5th start or so does a gauge sweep and resets the trip meter by itself. Anyone EVER had a gauge sweep in theirs? I have never and this is my 4th LS1.

Any thoughts??

I know exactly what you mean, i've had mine for about 3 months and it did it for the first time yesterday. I was like WTF, that's cool! I want my gauges to sweep every time. My girlfriends mustang does the same thing. Sometimes the gauges will sweep other times it wont.

There's a TSB for the trip reset on the 99's. www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359115

So this could be cause by my battery being a little low? Car was parked for about a month without running.
