Wanna help do mine? I'm in Jax and doing it next week using shoebox's directions. J/K I'll have to see how it goes, have the motor, been putting it off for several months.

Did you remove the entire Regulator assembly? I just replaced my drivers side an it was not that difficult. Was a pain, but I wont pay someone to do it.

If yuu need to do it again, try this website:

i don't know maybe it was because it was doing it at work and so i had to stop and come back several times. after thinking about it I would probably try it agian. one of my friends has to do it on his 1997 camaro but i think the biggest pain was the rivets.

Yeah, the rivets are a pain. The four that are attached to the door are holding the entire regulator/motor assembly in place. If you want to remove just the motor, you need to drill into the door itself to access them.

If you drill the rivets out, I would recommend replacing them with nylon bolts and nuts. I am an idiot and drilled out two of the rivets holding the entire assembly in. Once I realized my mistake, I replaced them with the nylon. Holds just fine.

I have some pictures I can send you via email if you want.

it is already done but thanks though. when i got in there though i realized that it had been done before. the holes were alread drilled in the door and the motor had nuts and bolts already on it. I did remove the whole assembly though as per GM Service Information

Cool,

1/2 the battle was done since you have holes already drilled.
