Default Reversing seatbelt latch

Maybe I'm having a dumb week, but the driver's side seat belt latch (the piece that slides on the belt and latches into the buckle) seems to be backwards. I can't figure out how to reverse it, or how it got the way. Basically, I have to twist the belt 180 to latch it. Any ideas?

I don't know if your car is a coupe or convertible. I have a convertible, so I'm not sure how the coupe belt mounts. But the first thing I would do is, if your belt goes behind an interior panel to the reel is to remove the panel and see if the belt is twisted behind the panel. Mine has done this a few times. If it is twisted behind there, then just untwist and you're good to go.

If the belt is not twisted, then the latch has gotten twisted on the belt.
Hope I can explain this adequately...

Slide the belt latch to the top of the belt.
Twist the belt below the latch 180*.
Holding the belt in this twisted position (kind of fold the twisted area so it is as flat as you can hold it), slide the latch over the 180* twist. You may have to force it a bit, but it will go.
After you have gotten the latch over the twist, it should now be pointed in the correct direction.

Mines a coupe. I'm pretty sure the latch is twisted. I'll try that trick. I've had to do similar things with my other cars, but there wasn't alot of room to force the belt thru on this car! Hopefully it works, and thanks!

it happens to me in my car CONSTANTLY. It really annoys me a lot, I usually have to do it at least once a day.
