Default Water Pump

Found a sort of performance water pump by Weiand but in the description it says that it is a team g water pump satin finish t356 aluminum but it says short style or long style what is the difference I think we need the long style? the short one is 169 and the long one is 179 brand new.

I believe the difference is just how far the water pump is from the block. I remember when I put one on my 80 Camaro I had the same question and I found on summitracing.com that I just had to measure the current ones distance from the block to wheel thingy. I'll look for the info now and post if I can find it.

I'm going to lose sleep over this question cause now I am wondering what style it is. I attached 2 pictures of kind of what I am talking about, of course though this most likely will be different from our newer cars but it will give you an idea. Hope the attachment works.
