Default won't drop below 1500 rpms

When I am driving the car around the car won't drop below 1500 rpms when the clutch is engaged. The only time that the car is at a normal idle is when the car is just about stopped and completely stopped. When i rev to 2 grand or higher it sticks at 1500 on the way back down. Anyone know what this would be or any ideas. Thanks in advance........

the car has longubes, ORY, borla catback, granetelli MAF, 230/236 cam.

yea it sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. But it could be a number of other things...Have you just recently installed the Granatelli MAF??...It Could be a sticking IAC...if you have access to a scan tool i would definately be looking at all these sensors, as well as your fuel trims to see if maybe the PCM is compensating for a vacuum leak. Do you have a vacuum guage? Hook a vacuum guage up and see what kinda vacuum its pulling at idle...this will allow you to know if you have any vacuum leaks also

you dont have a problem at all, its a safety measure, i had a lt1 that was the same way, since its a 6 spd (im sure this was done in the tune or maybe it does it automaticly) but it keeps the rpms up to keep vaccum and all your accesories, its no leak because if it was it would be constant, if it only comes down after u come to a stop the only way to fix it is to mess with your "Follower" in your tune
