Oil Pressure to high?

Default Oil Pressure to high?

Hey Guys, I been driving my car lately and noticing that the oil pressure is staying at 60 all day, and when I punch it the needle burys at 80 everytime..What does that mean, and is it safe?

could be the stock gauge sending unit is off a little,i wouldn't worry about it.the stock gauges are more of a stab in the dark than anything.is this a sudden change?i know from testing engines with a real mech gauge the factory gauges are usually reading much higher than whats really there.
