Any idea of whining noise when turning?

Default Any idea of whining noise when turning?

At first it was real bad power steering was leakin so i replaced the power steering pump and resvior and also replaced the rack n pinion but still whines when im turning any ideas? could of one the things i bought maybe bad? any info would thx fellas!!!

You may have air in the pump still. Run the steering from side to side all the way but stay off the stops at each extension of turn. (not good for the pump). You also may have to let it sit for a while due to the fluid got airated.

if its when u turn the wheel all the way, it will usually whine because its at its limit

ya.. but i just noticed it only does it when it gets hot also but whens itz cold itz fine no whining noise plus it does even all the smallest turns !itz wierd!! soo frustrating!!
