Default Alarm going off randomly?

Ive noticed that my alarm on my car is going off randomly, rather it be a work or at 3 o clock in the morning ( while the car is in the garage) it is sometimes just the two honks and sometimes its the constant honking for several minutes?

what could this be?
thanks

Maybe a shock sensor going bad, there is also a sensitivity adjustment on it, Its in the rh rear by the spare. if it is adjsuted too sensitive it will do that. Mine was going off sitting at the track everytime a loud car would drive by in the pits, so I would turn the sensitivity down on it and see if that does the trick.

I'd say that sensor is going wack then if she's cranked all the way. I'd visit a junkyard and pull one out of another car, it cant be too much money, that should take car of it I would think. Unless....maybe a stupid ? u didnt turn it the wrong way maybe? If its all the way up, you could sneeze and set it off.

I just unplugged mine and took it out altogether. Now, no problems.

During storms my alarm would go off every time lightning would strike close by. It was parked in the garage too. It would go off before the thunder. Now that's f*cked up.

Turn it all the way down or take it out (the shock sensor). I turned my all the way down and it still did it, so it found its way to the garbage. Alarm isnt so effective if it randomly goes off....
