Oil Weight Viscosity and Brand
This is my first oil change since I've purchased the car, I purchased SeaFaom and as soon as I figure out how to use it I'm adding it to the oil, soon thereafter I'll be getting an oil change. I live in Southern California where the temp range is usually from 60 at night to 100-ish during the Summer. Which oil should I use to get the best efficiency and performance from my 00 Z28? Also it says in the owners manual that oil additives arent needed, but I watched the dyno video form royal purple and the car did gain HP. I read on LS1tech that a good synthetic w/ Lucas would be just as good as the RP is there any truth to that?

Search "Castrol" or "German" lots of reading to be found.
