Have you seen this problem before?
This crack in the door panel started out small and now looks like this. I leave my car in the driveway all the time, even in winter when I first noticed it. I'm thinking its from the cold temperatures here in Detroit in the winter. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to their car. I have another similar one on the other door too. I'm trying to sell my car now and I'm sure when people see they'll second guess any purchase. I guess the only way to fix it would be to get new door panels, but it's not like these cars are made anymore.

doesn't mean parts aren't available
heck look in the classifieds here. lots of guys parting out cars or trading parts... try a scrap yard... try the dealer... parts are still around

In my experiance, GM usually stocks parts for a minimum of 10 years after a model is redesigned/discontinued, and usually much longer for mechanical parts. Hell, you can still get quite a few cosmetic/trim things for 3rd gens over the GM parts counter, newest one of those is 14 years old now.
Should be no problem getting new door panals for an '02 car.
