Ok, about 3 or 4 days ago I noticed that my driver's side headlight kept on getting caught on the hood and wouldn't pop up completely. The car has never been in an accident, so I'm wondering what would cause that all of a sudden.

Any advice? Is this common?

Couldnt tell you why it does it, but mine does the same damn thing. Drives me nuts! Ive adjusted and readjusted it MANY times. Its most often the passenger side. Just have to readjust it from time to time.

Possibly the armature jumped the stop and is not allowing the light to deploy. Happened to me once. Those little plastic nubs they put on the stops pop off or get mauled and then the armature flips right by the stop.

Take a look and make sure everything looks like the other, working light down around the motor.
