I have an A4 and while in gear at a stop the car seems to have a shake to it. The rpms seem to stay at 500 but sumpin aint right. It seems to be ok other then that. I thought maybe it was bad fuel, but I just filled up again and its still there. Its been raining for like a year here in Ohio so I cant drive it to much. Just whant to know what I should try first.

yah i have the same problem too same a4 idle 500 but the motor will shake and smooth out then shake. But the igniton is all new except opti and o2 are new so i dunno. It runs smooth cold but warmer then it shakes, but other wise runs smooth higher rpm

500 sounds a little low, mine idles around 700-750.

I cleaned my tb and it helped abit but it started again. I have the same problem with the car having 50k miles on it.

mine did the same thing, plugs and wires fixed it
