Question Hessitation??

My car is hessitating at lower rpm's...more in the higher gears. It kind of "bumps" the car back and forth. I'm thinking I might have a bad plug or wire, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

that is a valid possibility as well as an O2 sensor.

Rear O2's are deleted, and as far as I know the front ones are working alright...no SES light.

There must be live scanning programs for LS1s, right? I mean, a set of error codes would be ideal.

Also, I had a bad O2 and my SES light didn't always come on--it may be different for LS1s. No matter what though, codes would tell the story.

edit: also make sure your fuel injectors are clean and clear.

check the under hood fuses, i had my 02 sensor fuse go out and caused the same hesitation. i didnt have an ses light either so that would be my first place to look. its the 20 amp yellow one in the box closes to the front of the car.

I had that problem and it turned out all I needed was a new fuel filter. My car would start to hestitate kind of randomly throughout the over 2000 rpm range on wot. I had gone without changing the fuel filter for about 27k miles and it was totally gunked up.

Just because the SES light is not on does not mean the o2's are still good.

When I first put longtube headers on my car, it ran like poop for a good bit of time before it ever set a light for the o2 sensor. I'm not saying that this is definitely the problem, but it would be a good idea to look at the o2s with a scanner and see that they are moving as they should.

Okay. My SES light came on yesterday. Two codes, one for each side running lean. Any more ideas? By the way, this happened the day after I changed my #2 knock sensor. So everything from the intake manifold to the lid was off the car. Although it did run fine for about a day. Might have something to do with it.
