Default oil coating in intake

i have used 2 qts of oil in 1500 miles. it is a forged shortblock from texas speed that has 6k on it. i switched to syn at 5k. i noticed that the intake had a oil coating in it. is there a pcv valve or crankcase vent filter to replace or install? any suggestions?

All sorts of options, just search. Catch can, breathers, LS6 PCV. The oil in the intake is common for the LS1s.

I have all of those, and they are very effective as a combination, but with out the catchcan oil will always make it to the intake unless you just nix the whole PCV system and stick with a breather.

I finally pulled the whole PCV and put breathers, got tired of the oil consumption too.
