Default Grand Prix Help!

My 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix has for some reason stop running completely today. Wont turn over, no power to any accessories nothin. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good tech based websites like this one for the Grand Prix? Any and all help would be much appreciated as i am pretty much in the dark when it comes to working on this thing.

Try replacing you battery. When they go nothign works....I have had that happen to me with my old ranger pick-up. Started just fine, got to my friends house and was going to make a quick beer run, and then nothing.....Replaced the battery and it was fine........

Thanks Josh ill take a look around there.

00TA- Thats the weird thing I just replaced the battery the other day because it had died on me. As far as i can tell Im still getting power from the battery.

my battery stranded me in my camaro once. Some accessories would work but it was very flaky. That was fun.

Never run a 1200W max 2 channel amp off of the OEM battery.

Cars are supposed to run on the alternator...not the battery. 9 times out of 10 the alternator is bad which causes the battery to be drained. Have your alternator checked before replacing the battery again.

this bailed me out a few times. Check for corrosion on the contact points. If you've got corrosion, your battery's toast. Mine got so bad it actually went into the wires.

I am not sure but certain years had a fuel pump resistor that would go bad. I had an 01 GTP, those did not have it, but I believe the earlier years did.
