Oil Light wont go off!!! (02 Chevy Silverado) Guys,
Need some help! Just changed the oil on my 02 Chevy Silverado and the service light will not go off. Does anyone on here have an idea on how to turn this reset-reprogram? Any assistance is greatly appreciated-thanx in advance.

Read the owner's manual. It instructs you to turn the key on with the engine off and depress the accelerator pedal several times ( I can't remember how many, but 4 or 5 always works) then turn the key off. The next time you crank the truck the light will blink a few times, then go off.
