Default stuck up power antenna

Like the title says. A couple months ago, my power antenna stopped going down. I saw somewhere that there is a repair kit for this. Anybody try it? The antenna receives signal just fine but it would be nice if it went down. It hits the bikes hanging in my garage. I tried pushing it down manually but that doesn't work.
Anyway,
what's the cheapest/best way to fix this?

Stuck up antenna?B!tch slap a few times. That ought to put it in it's place.

You're probably going to have to replae it.

New power antennas are 100 from the dealer so if you don't care it might not be a bad idea to get a new one. They do sell a repair kit... I have done it before and they do fix the problem. It isn't too hard to replace the nylon track and gear but it is annoying. No special tools.

I pushed mine down, start from the bottom so you dont bend it from pushing from top. Then its one cable to unplug it..and its down forever...maybe spay some lubricant to make it slide better
