Default 93 saturn a/c?

i have a 93 saturn as a DD and it doesnt have any air conditioning, it blows a ton of air but its not cold, now its an r-12 and i have read that i can recharge it with freeze-12. Do you think that will work? at least for the summer while its hot? I am not going to convert it to r-134a because that is a lot more money then i want to spend. If anyone else has any ideas other than the convert on how i can get my a/c cool id appreciate to hear it.

Sure looks like it would work... but why did your A/C stop working in the first place? If you don't know the answer to that, then filling it may be the least of your problems...

dont know, i was looking at it today and it HAS been retrofited for r-134, so i went to charge it with some r-134 and when i put the can on the low pressure valve and turned on the car the low pressure valve started pumping out a gripload of pressure, why did that happen? is it a faulty valve?
