oil pan plug stripped

Default oil pan plug stripped

i stripped my plug while doing my last oil change. are these universal plugs or do i need to find a specific part number for my car? does anyone know it?

As far as I know, they have plugs for every type of car at your local auto store like autozone, you just lookup your car and get a replacement.

yea i stripped the plug for my LT1, went to the dealer and got one with the magnent on it...it was like $3.

NAPA has them, you just have them look up the part number on the computer. For most cars theres a single oversize and a double oversize for people who strip it out twice.
