Default Rear passenger clunk

When i go over bumps, and not always big ones, I can hear a pretty annoying "clunk" from that general area. When i was under doing the shocks recently i saw that the hanger for the exhaust exit pipe out of the muffler had some slack in it. So I thought that was the culprit since the clearance with the exhaust all around there seemed tight. But when Im driving, it really sounds like it is too loud for that to be causing it the more and more that I hear it.

I did some searching and some people say that the bushings in your LCA's can cause this or if they are not tight enough. Everything under the car is definitely tight enough, plus it only does it on the passenger side (which also makes me lean toward exhaust clearance issues), so i have ruled that out. My LCA's are not that old, can that really cause this? Would getting relocation brackets help with the travel of the LCA's and possibly solve this mystery clunk?

somebody has to know what this is or at least an idea right? Ive pretty much ruled out the trans mount because it really only does it when the passenger side goes over bumps... Cmon all, i know Im not the only one with this problem.

I have noticed that my bump stop on the rear passenger wheel is crumbling... but I doubt the car is bottoming out... there are brand new shocks on there and it feels quite firm.

If it started right after the shock install doublecheck the top nut. Loose LCA on drivers side made mine clunk over small bumps.

no, it did it before the rear shock install... I will check the LCA again, it doesnt appear to be bad at all. That would be nice if that is all it is...

Mine does the same thing. I'm going to look at it this weekend, but I'm hoping it's the shock because I need an excuse for QA1s.

it wont be the shock, i have a feeling it is a bad bushing in the LCAs or they are loose...

Problem fixed... it was the passenger lower control arm... apparently it became loose. Any idea why just one side? Seems odd.
