Default Brake Light Stuck On?

I bought my car a couple of days ago and the only problem was the brake light being stuck on, the guy said he braked hard about 3,000 miles ago and it just stuck on. It's the little red BRAKE light on the left side of the dashboard, like when you put your parking brake on it shows up. When I first start the car and roll back out of the driveway it doesn't come on, but once you begin going forward it lights up. The parking break is down, I've checked that a few times, and it doesn't seem like it's causing any problems... just annoying Me so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to get rid of this little problem?

If it works normally when you first start up and remain parked and then goes on when you start moving that has to be ABS related.

def the ABS sensor, however before you spend money on the sensore check your master cylinder level (brake fludid resivour). there is a little plasitc bobber like thing in the cylinder. that just floats with the fluid, make sure its not stuck and there is plenty of clean fluid in there and its floating the bobber up to the top. sometimes thats and easy fix however as your explaining it, it sounds like the sensor

Check the fluid in the master cylinder, also if you jump the connector at the low fluid indicator switch on the master cyliner if the light goes out that means that its the switch in the master.
