Default got a ? for others w/ lowered fbody's

i've got sort of a problem and was wondering if someone could help me out. here it is. i bought a 99 T/A about 3 weeks ago and it's lowered 2". i can't get a f'in jack under it and the local mechanic couldn't even get his lift under it. anybody know of a jack with a shorter hieght than about 5" b/c i have tried the two that i have and they don't fit under the jacking points only by about a 1/4 inch tho. anybody got any suggestions??

Well, mine is lowered about the same ,I always had someone lift up on the front fenderwell and then I would slide it under in a safe place, or maybe drive up on some blocks eh?

My 02 TA is lower about 1.5" with SLP's bilstien springs/shocks.

Tho its a little tricky getting a jack under there, my mechanic & I know where to get under the car now. It was a learning curve to find the best spots.

I cant image my car being much lower (like yours at 2" drop).

lay a couple short peice's of 2x4's infront your tires.roll up onto them and they will give you the clearance you need.

I use the stock jack to lift it high enough to get a jack under the SLP subframes. Can also get the looong rhino ramps from Walmart.

shimmy the stock jack under the car from inside the wheel well of drive the car ontop of a 2x4 then jack it up.
