Default is driving without headlight cover okay in the rain?

I'm getting the headlight cover on my TA painted and was planning on driving without it for a few days while it gets painted. Is it okay to drive like this if it rains? Thanks

you might get some corrosion which could bite you in the *** in the long run.

Water will still get in there wether the cover is off or on. I dont think you will have any issues....
