Default belt squeak at WOT

so when im at WOT and my car shifts into second, my belt squeaks, what could be causing this? i dont really get on it that much, but ive just noticed this in the last week

any help is greatful, thanks

well the belts going fast then the car shifts down to 1,000 rpms or whatever and the belt has to slow so it squeaks try belt lube or w/e the hell its called i know they got it at autostores

Every automatic F-body I have driven has done the same thing, always happens under WOT and at the first to second shift. Dont know the exact cause though. Ron

TOO big of charger, too small of belt..... i knew i shouldnt have cheap out there

You have a belt that is going or a tensioner that is too weak.

Most likely changing the belt will fix it, or the ghetto repair is to use belt dressing.

If belt dressing doesn't make it go away then it is definitely time for a new belt.

or it's the idler pulley..Mine was squeaking(Squealing) like a little bitch..Idler pulley(tentioner) fixed it
