Default Stock spark plugs?

Im thinkin about getting some new plugs. I pulled the #1 plug and it seemed ok, It was a little dark and the gap was about .054. Are the stock plugs Denso PTJ16R15's? They have the needle point tip. The car has 65500 miles on it and i am debating whether or not to get new ones as well as new wires. What do you guys think?

That's what my car came with. If they've been in there for 65K I'd replace them along with the wires (hated the heat shields). I watched the sponsor GP's and got NGK TR55 plugs/wires at the same time.

If it has 65000+ miles I would recommend getting new plugs and wires. Get a set of NGK tr55 plugs and either a set of Taylor or MSD wires.

I agree,
I just put NGK TR55's on my car along with MSD 8.5 mm wires from byunspeed.com.. They have nice prices and nice customer service. BTW gap the plugs at .050.
