Just changed oil and oil change light still on ...wtf?

Default Just changed oil and oil change light still on ...wtf?
I changed my oil yesterday after 2500 miles. I drove it for one night in a somewhat spirited manner. The next day I started it up and i saw the oil change light on. Has this happend to anyone else here and what should I do about it???

Dude, Turn on the key(car not started) Hold the reset button, It will go off in about 10sec

yup, dont let go until it goes off. then turn off the car and start it up again. do it until the fuc*er goes away

I got sick of it so I traded my car for a V6 mustang....I'm like the executioner...At any sign of trouble I will cut my cars throat!

turn the key to the on position, push in the gas 3 times wait a second and turn the car on
