Default dealership diagnostic test

i called the dealership today to ask about testing my coil packs to make sure theyre working properly. the guy in the service department said he could run a diagnostic test for $85 to see if the car is misfiring.

is this the same diagnostic test i can run with this actron super autoscanner?

Why are you thinkin your coil packs arent workin? The code reader you have a link too is just that. If your car has any trouble codes it will read them and delete them..
On the same note autozone will do the same for free.

I'm guessing all they are going to do is plug a TECH II in and read the misfire graphics. What kind of problems are you having? Is it missing?

not sure, it runs rough. gas mileage has gone down. i replaced spark plugs, plug wires, iat sensor, changed fuel filter, added fuel injector cleaner. helps but still runs rough. im sending off for the fuel injectors to be flowed and cleaned by fuelinjectorclinic once i get access to a second car. ie about another month
