I've always used Meguier's Gold Class Leather cleaner/conditioner. Works great on all my leather interiors. The 10 year old seats in my Bonneville still look great thanks to this product.

I had some left over "Son of a gun" worked great for a do it all product. Works in a pinch. Armor all wipes are meh. The Gold class stuff works great as well.

I think you mean SADDLE soap JEB. It does the best imo.

I like that stuff too. It's old school, but it works well. I don't use it on leather, but it works great on rubber, vinyl and plastic trim for interior and exterior.

will that meguiars stuff protect the leather from wearing out, or is it just to make it shiny like armor all?

I use the Meguires - but the pump spray version (the cream version tends to collect in the little perforations of the leather and then later on turn brown )

The Meguires product does not really make the leather shiny like Armorall - just cleans/conditions the leather.

I worked in an Automotive Upholstery Shop for a couple years while in college. We were always told to NEVER use Armorall products on either vinyl or leather. Reason being is that it puts a 'skin' over whatever it is applied to. Vinyl and Leather need to 'breathe' in order to not dry out prematurely. Constant application of Armorall will essentially seal the pores in the vinyl or leather and actually make either dry out/crack sooner than if it was never applied.

I'm not really fond of the super shiny look of Armorall anyway - plus it tends to act as a dirt/dust magnet...

I use mequires too, it's nothing like armorall. That why I use it, it conditions the leather and doesn't dry hard.

ALWAYS Lexol, ONLY Lexol

Awesome stuff, brings out the natural shine of the leather, recommend to me by an auto upholstry shop and have been using ever since.

yeah the lexol and the meguirs will definitely keep the leather "young" looking, I've used them both and they're both good. The difference is that meguirs is a cleaner/conditioner in one, while with lexol you need two different bottles - the cleaner and the condish.
